Falcon Football Raises Awareness During Pink Game |

Falcon High School (located in Meridian Ranch) football players sport pink this week in support of an important cause. The players will wear personalized pink jerseys during the school’s Pink Game to show support for the American Cancer Society and Breast Cancer Awareness Month at Falcon High School, Friday, Oct. 12 at 7 p.m.

Staff, students and community members purchased the pink jerseys from the football team, which are personalized with the last names of loved ones battling cancer or who have lost battles with cancer. Proceeds from jersey purchases, totaling $6,242, will be presented to the American Cancer Society prior to kick-off at the game against Ponderosa High School. The National Breast Cancer Awareness Month program is dedicated to increasing awareness about the importance of the early detection of breast cancer through a nationwide campaign held in October.
